Who I Am
LCSW · CYT200
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and EMDR-trained therapist, and the founder of Breath & Rhythm — a fully virtual practice for people in the middle of becoming.
My work lives at the intersection of depth and the body. I draw on psychodynamic and attachment theory, somatic psychology, parts work, EMDR, and trauma-informed yoga. And I pay attention to the whole of you — your identity, your story, and the systems you're living inside — because none of it is separate from what you carry, or how you heal.
I work with adults moving through identity shifts and life transitions — the thresholds where the old way of being no longer fits and the new one hasn't fully arrived.

I work relationally, which is a clinical word for something pretty simple: I'm paying attention to more than what you're saying. I'm noticing how you're holding it, what your body's doing while you talk, what story you've been telling yourself about your life, and whether that story is helping you or hurting you. I work with the whole person — mind, body, history, spirit, and the contexts you're living inside — because all of it shapes how you show up.
Clinically, I work from psychodynamic and attachment-based theory, somatic psychology, parts work, and EMDR. I'm also trained in trauma-informed yoga, which I bring in when working with the body directly is what we need. Alongside that, I've spent years studying theology, spirituality, and the systems we're living inside — because how we make meaning and the world we're making it in both shape what healing actually looks like. These aren't side interests. They're part of how I see. They don't get imposed on you, though. I work with people across all kinds of belief systems, and your way of making meaning is yours.
My approach honors both the intuitive and the strategic. Sessions are relational, spacious, and paced with intention — designed to meet you where you are and support where you're ready to go. I bring depth and warmth in the same breath, and I trust what you know about your own life, even when that knowing is still coming into focus. The work is yours. I'm here to hold the space that lets it keep happening.

Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me getting in a Peloton yoga, Pilates, or cardio session — movement is one of the ways I keep my own rhythm. I'm usually working my way through a podcast, too.
I'm endlessly curious about the frameworks we use to understand ourselves, from somatic work to astrology to Human Design, and I treat them as tools for self-knowing rather than fixed answers.
I believe healing work can hold weight and lightness at the same time, so humor tends to find its way into my sessions. And I'd be remiss not to mention Maverick, my dog and most devoted co-regulator, who has never once respected the boundary of a closed office door.
